If you are a caring person who likes to help others then my answer to that would be yes, most likely.
There are quite a few therapies to choose from but the most common are Reflexology, Massage & Aromatherapy. Which one you should choose will depend entirely on you as an individual.
We have free training advisory calls, get in touch and we can help you decide which option is best for you.
Our Reflexology, Massage & Aromatherapy courses are all available at our centre in Donegal.
But we are expanding to Dublin and are currently offering Reflexology there.
There are aspects of the course which can be started online, for example the Anatomy & Physiology.
But due to the practical element of the therapies we do not offer it online, you would not get the same support and hands on help that a tutor can give you in person.
In Ireland, insurance companies won't cover you for Professional Insurance cover if you have done an online course for a practical holistic therapies like Reflexology, Massage, Aromatherapy or Energy Therapies.
If you require any help with learning, you must let us know before the beginning of the course so the relevant support can be identified and put in place.
You’re not alone there! We have had plenty of students come through our courses who haven't been in a learning environment in a long time.
We make our learning as fun and interactive as possible to help our students learn the information in a more practical way.
If there is any part of the course you find difficult or start to struggle with, our tutors are on hand to provide you with the additional support you need to achieve your goals.
You will be required to get 2 books, 1 for your practical module & 1 for anatomy & physiology. We sometimes have some second hand books available for purchase. All additional learning material will be provided by us along with our online learning platform to support your learning.
This will vary depending on which course you are doing but that information will be provided in your course guidelines. With every course we ask you to bring a pen and notebook, packed lunch and comfortable clothes.
Some certifications are recognised and in such cases you can be exempt from the Anatomy & Physiology module. In the scenario your certification is not accepted, we allow students to undertake a skills test. On successful passing of the skills test, you can choose to join the Anatomy & Physiology classes or do some home revision and simply sit the exam at the end of the course.
